Gene Key 5 — The Path of Patience
Shadow of Impatience → Gift of Patience → Siddhi of Timelessness
Let's take eating as an example - when we feel hungry, we satisfy our hunger immediately. Often, we eat even when we're not hungry. In cultures that are closer to nature, people tend to eat only once a day. Another notable aspect is the multitude of people on the streets and in cafes who seem to be doing nothing. It's not that they're lazy, but rather, they have a different rhythm. The drive to earn money indeed changes the rhythm of life. I'm not saying whether this is good or bad, and I don't want to romanticize poorer cultures. However, there's something we can learn from each other.
Generally, the more we appreciate life and the more we allow ourselves to pause and rest, the kinder we become. Kindness is connected to Patience. And Impatience is connected to intolerance - the Shadow. As we embark on the Path of Patience, we begin to understand that true growth happens when we Surrender to the natural flow of life, ultimately leading us to the Gift of Patience and the Siddhi of Timelessness.
