The Shadow of Seriousness is a chronic underappreciation of one's own body and physical life as a source of joy. It transforms existence into a series of obligations, devoid of the intrinsic pleasure of the life process itself. Those embodying this Gift radiate a lightness that literally attracts favourable circumstances, for their energetic field is unconstrained by anxiety. At the Siddhi of Ecstasy, the body becomes a direct conduit for rapture – every moment of physical presence is infused with the wonder of simply being alive.
