In ancient times, a great injustice occurred with the original I-Ching, which is part of our collective human wound. We were gifted with great and wondrous treasures, secret knowledge, and pure transmissions directly from the source, but upon leaving the Garden of Eden, we lost our state of unity with the world. This was a period of ignorance, but gradually we have been recovering the lost treasures. Such is the compassionate nature of the Universe - consciousness cannot forget itself for long. As we walk the Path Of Orientation, we begin to reclaim our true heritage and rediscover the hidden patterns that govern our lives.

Humanity has always heard echoes of the truth about our true nature. The I-Ching is one such ancient transmission, but its essence was distorted long ago. The pages of this book have seen much, and now, at its very beginning, lies the greatest lie. The I-Ching did not begin with the yang hexagram! In nature, nothing begins with the masculine; everything originates from the feminine and returns to the feminine. The 2nd Gene Key, which was originally the first, represents this primordial femininity - pure yin, or receptivity. This is the foundation of our journey from the Shadow Of Disorientation to the Gift Of Orientation, and ultimately, to the Siddhi Of Unity, where we transcend the Dilemma Of Planning and find our way back to the natural order of life.
