Spleen intuition lives only in the present moment — a quiet, one-time signal. Does not repeat. If you wait for confirmation, you've already missed it. Channels 48-16 and 57-20 are able to 'hear themselves from the outside': the Spleen can express the state of the immune system in words — 'something's not right', 'it's not safe here'.

Defined (colored) Spleen

Reliable intuition working in the present moment. Good instincts for safety and health. Signals come once and quietly — it's essential to learn to distinguish them among mental noise.

Gift

Spontaneous wisdom, instinctive knowledge of what's safe. Strong immune system. Bodily knowledge that doesn't require logical explanation.

Shadow

May ignore intuition in favor of logic. Hard to explain to others their 'I just know'. Risk of rationalizing what the body has already responded to.

Open (white) Spleen

Wisdom

Deep understanding of fear and safety in others. Not holding on to what no longer serves. Ability to feel the health and unhealthiness of a situation especially subtly through others.

Not-self trap

Holding on to unhealthy situations/relationships out of fear. Ignoring bodily signals. Amplifying others' fears to panic proportions — taking them as one's own.

Practice

Stop clinging to unhealthy habits and relationships. An open spleen holds on to them out of fear — others' fears are perceived as one's own and amplified 3-4 times. Let go of what no longer serves, even when it's scary.

Deconditioning the open Spleen
