The power of will, ego, material world, promises

The Ego center is the only center directly connected to the material world and value. It operates in cycles: load -> rest -> load. An open Ego should not make promises and take on obligations out of a desire to be accepted — the body literally does not have the resources to fulfill them.

Defined (colored) Ego (Will/Heart)

A reliable and constant power of will. You are able to keep promises and bring things to a close. The Ego center works through self-worth — when you feel your value, willpower is present; when not — the power disappears.

Gift

The power of will, the ability to speak honestly on behalf of the ego function. You are able to negotiate and defend your interests. Ability to see the material value of things and situations.

Shadow

May impose their will on others. Find it difficult to accept help. Risk using ego power to the detriment of oneself to prove something.

Open (white) Ego (Will/Heart)

Wisdom

Understand others' motivation and value. You don't need to constantly prove your worth — it's there by default.

Not-self trap

Taking on more than you can handle. Making promises out of a desire to be accepted. Self-esteem depends on achievements. Working through force when there is no resource — accumulating debt to the body.

Practice

Stop making promises that the body cannot fulfill. Do not take on obligations out of a desire to be liked. Take care of the heart — it works in cycles: load → rest → load. The open Ego is the first place of deconditioning.
